about me

I’m Abbie Leonardi, an enthusiast of all things living well located in what I call the south x midwest (the part of Kentucky right across from Cincinnati). My husband, Ben, and I bought our first house in March 2024, a 1902 Italianate with lots of original character and an adorable sunroom overlooking the city. Since then, we’ve spent most of our free time painting, decorating, and restoring charm to our home, which is what initially prompted me to start sharing some of our progress online.

I am not a trained chef, licensed designer, or really any kind of expert. During the daytime, I work in corporate strategic sourcing. Chez Leonardi (loosely translated as “at the Leonardi home”) has become my little creative outlet away from work where I share my favorites in food, entertaining, home, style and more. In the early years of adulthood, I’ve found myself pulled in the direction of a thousand different interests, from sewing to floral arranging to baking to dressmaking, and I wanted a place to capture my exploration of those interests, and the best tips and advice I’ve collected over the years.
